‘Riverdale’ Star Lili Reinhart Shares Sweet Birthday Poem to Cole Sprouse Amid Split
Are Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart back together? The Riverdale stars split in July after two years of dating, but it seems like Bughead might be back on. Lili, 22, took to Instagram on Sunday, August 4, to share a sweet poem to Cole on his 27th birthday.
“I tried to find a poem that I could send to you. Because my words were failing me. But I searched and found nothing that did you justice. All of these love poems can’t get it right. No one else’s words could ever fit. They haven’t known the fortune it is to love you. -sappy nighttime birthday poem for @colesprouse,” Lili wrote in the caption of a photo of Cole smoking a cigarette across from her at a table.
Fans, of course, flooded the comments and speculated that this is proof that the couple is back together. “OMG thank God y’all are still together I have been so worried y’all broke up but now I can rest assured y’all are still together and still loving love u [sic] both @colesprouse and @lilireinhart,” one fan wrote, and another commented, “That’s called love baby. WHAT A POWERFUL COUPLE.”
Lili and Cole started dating after they met on set of The CW’s hit series and were together for two years even though they seemed hesitant to confirm their relationship early on. But it seems like they split up this summer, and Us Weekly reported at the timethat they were spotted “keeping their distance from each other” at the Entertainment Weekly Comic-Con party in San Diego on July 21. An insider also overheard Cole tell a friend that he and Lili were broken up.
But just weeks later, it seems like they’re sparking romance rumors again. In addition to her sweet birthday poem to Cole, Lili also took to her Instagram Story to share a photo of Cole and his twin brother, Dylan Sprouse. But the photo was cropped so Cole was out of the frame and Dylan was more prominently featured in the post. “Happy birthday, baby!” she wrote.
