Lady Gaga Is ‘Playing Coy’ About Her Friendship With Jeremy Renner Following Christian Carino Split
New couple alert? Despite the fact that Lady Gaga and ex-fiancé Christian Carino recently called it quits, it looks like the “Shallow” songstress, 32, might already be moving on. Who’s the lucky man, you ask? None other than A-list actor Jeremy Renner. Unfortunately, though, Gaga is seemingly keeping things under wraps.
“She’s playing coy about their friendship,” an insider exclusively dished to Life & Style. Playing coy? Yep, that sounds like Gaga! After all, fans of A Star Is Born were basically convinced for months that she and costar Bradley Cooper were romantically involved IRL. That said, the newly minted Oscar winner made it clear that pair are just friends — after awards season, of course. Even so, we bet Jeremy, 48, was happy to hear that!
The insider went on to confess that Gaga and The Avengers star “are super cute together,” and even noted that “the chemistry between them is real.”
Question is, does this mean that Gaga finally learned to balance her career with her love life? Speaking during her 2017 Netflix documentary, Five Foot Two, the superstar opened up about why all of her past relationships failed.
“It’s a sad day when I’m doing the Super Bowl and I’m so excited to do it, but I can’t help but realize that when I sold 10 million records, I lost Matt [Williams]. I sold 30 million, I lose Luc [Carl]. I get the movie [A Star Is Born], I lose Taylor [Kinney].”
Thankfully, things seem to be different with Jeremy. “Lady Gaga and Jeremy have more than just music in common,” the source confirmed. Additionally, the Hollywood heartthrob is no stranger to the spotlight himself. Perhaps Gaga has finally met her match, y’all! We’ll keep our fingers crossed.
