Chris Lane Is ‘Working On’ an Unforgettable Proposal for Lauren Bushnell
It looks like former Bachelor star Lauren Bushnell may be getting engaged again very soon to her current boyfriend, Chris Lane. The country singer revealed during the 2019 Academy of Country Music Awards that he is plotting the perfect proposal for the blonde beauty.
“It’s my first ACMs with my beautiful girlfriend, and I’m excited about that tonight,” the country crooner, 34, gushed about the Bachelor Nation mainstay, 29, to ET. He then surprisingly revealed that he’s “working on” a special way to ask for her hand in marriage but mums the word. “Don’t tell her that, though,” he added.

Although he said it won’t be happening in the next few months, he feels confident that he’ll be getting down on one knee sometime this year.
The couple absolutely sparkled on the ACM red carpet. Lauren stood out in a one-shoulder red gown while Chris looked chic in a grey and black suit.
The Oregon native and the country singer took their relationship public back in November and have been packing on the social media PDA ever since. “We’ve been friends for a long time and we’ve kind of kept in touch,” he divulged to iHeartCountry during the 2018 Country Music Awards about how they got together. “We met — funny story — at an iHeart show… like years and years ago, but we were just friends for all that time and the recently started spending some time together and realized we actually enjoy each other.”
Lauren famously got engaged to Ben Higgins at the end of season 20. The two split in 2017, about one year after the show’s finale. They’ve since moved on and are in seemingly happy relationships. Ben recently introduced his Instagram followers to his new girlfriend, Jessica Clarke.
