New-ish Couple Alert! Lili Reinhart Confirms She and Cole Sprouse Are Back Together

Here we go again! After months of speculation about the status of Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart’s relationship, the Hustlers star, 22, finally confirmed that the couple is back together.

How did she unveil the big news, you ask? In the spookiest way possible … well, sort of. “I think I’m leaning in towards a character for Halloween,” Lili told Coveteur in an interview published on Sunday, September 8. “I think I’m going to do it with my boyfriend, Cole. I don’t want to spoil it if it’s not going to happen, but it’s a TV duo.”

Did you catch that, ladies and gentlemen? Her boyfriend, Cole … not her BFF or costar! Phew. Now all of the diehard Bughead shippers can continue watching Riverdale in peace.

To be fair, we aren’t entirely surprised to see Lilli and Cole giving things another go. After all, it’s not as if the pair stopped speaking following their split. In fact, things between them remained pretty much the same — including on social media.

So much so, that Lili posted quite the lovey-dovey message for Cole on his 27th birthday. “I tried to find a poem that I could send to you. Because my words were failing me,” the actress began her August 4 post, which of course, included an artsy photo of her beau smoking a cigarette.

“But I searched and found nothing that did you justice. All of these love poems can’t get it right. No one else’s words could ever fit. They haven’t known the fortune it is to love you. – Sappy nighttime birthday poem for @colesprouse.”

While we no doubt appreciated Lili’s Shakespeare moment, her describing Cole as her “boyfriend” is the best poetry of all!
