Love Is Blind season 8 stars Devin Buckley and Virginia Miller were one of five couples to leave the pods engaged after a brand-new cast of 32 men and women joined the show. Now, viewers are wondering if Devin and Virginia are still together.
Are ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 8 Stars Devin and Virginia Still Together?
Devin developed connections with Virginia and Brittany Dodson during his time in the pods in Love Is Blind season 8. In the end, he decided he and Virginia were more compatible and he broke things off with Brittany. However, out of all of the engaged couples this season, Devin and Virginia are the only two who do not follow each other on Instagram, which hinted their reality TV romance potentially couldn’t withstand the test of time.
In the season 8 finale, Devin and Virginia made it to the altar, and he said “I do,” but Virginia said she didn’t feel like she was “ready” for marriage just yet. Devin was seemingly devastated and began crying when he heard her decision.
“The worst thing that could’ve happened happened, and I just feel kind of lost. I just don’t understand why,” the high school basketball coach later told producers.
What Happened With Love Is Blind’s Devin and Virginia in the Pods?
Devin’s love for helping kids is obvious in his daily life as he works as a child mentor and a high school basketball coach. This was something Virginia, a healthcare recruiter, noticed right away from talking to Devin. They also attended the same high school, which was a shock to both Devin and Virginia. However, Devin attended the school a few years after Virginia so they had never crossed paths before.
“I came here, really, to date somebody completely different,” Virginia told Devin in episode 2. “I don’t want to continue to date the type of guys I’ve been dating. So, you are quite refreshing.”
She continued, “I like that you’re passionate about coaching and stuff like that, and giving back and that you’re passionate about basketball, like, all of those things. But, I think the biggest thing is that I can feel that you’re just a very kind person and that’s what’s most meaningful to me.”
While Devin knew he felt something with Virginia, he had also developed feelings for Brittany. However, after she confessed that she had been in relationships with women in the past, Devin said it was “something” for him to “think about.” Ultimately, that confession led to their split after Brittany decided to break things off with him.
“It would’ve been great to hear something else when I shared that with you, but I still don’t want you to just tell me what I want to hear,” Brittany admitted in episode 5. “I want you to be completely and 100 percent fully yourself.”
She continued, “Just knowing that you may be a little more rigid than I would like in a partner, I just kind of felt like, I don’t think that this is going to be good for me.”
Devin agreed with her and said that he saw their relationship “the same way” as she did, and soon after they said their goodbyes, he proposed to Virginia.
When Do the Next Episodes of ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 8 Get Released?
Fans got a sneak peek of what was to come for the couples at the end of episode 6 of Love Is Blind with the midseason trailer. Netflix premiered episodes 7 through 9 on February 21, 2025, and episodes 10 through 12 on February 28, 2025. The Love Is Blind season 8 finale dropped on March 7, 2025, and the reunion is scheduled to premiere on March 9, 2025.
