Secretly Engaged? Taylor Swift And Joe Alwyn Are ‘Already Wedding Planning’ (EXCLUSIVE)
With all of Hollywood’s recent breakups lately, it’s nice to see one couple still standing strong! After dating for over a year now, Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn are reportedly engaged. Sources tell Life & Style magazine that the couple already have ideas on what they want their wedding to be like and have even started thinking of having kids together.
As usual, Taylor’s been keeping busy. She gave a killer performance at the 2018 American Music Awards a few weeks ago and is currently on her stadium tour which wraps up next month, but that doesn’t mean the star doesn’t make time for love. According to the insider, Joe popped the question recently and proposed with “a gorgeous, vintage engagement ring.”
The pop singer never shies away from spilling details of her love life in music; she’s hinted at her special romance with Joe on her latest album, Reputation, with songs such as “Call It What You Want” and “…Ready For It?” However, besides that, the couple has kept their relationship extremely private since it was reported they were dating in May 2017. Her past relationships have been very publicly displayed in the past from Tom Hiddleston’s “I heart T.S.” declaratory T-shirt or her 2013 New Year’s kiss with Harry Styles in Times Square. This time, Taylor has kept it to herself, which probably contributes to why it’s worked out great so far — she believes Joe is the one and is everything she “has always dreamed of in a man.”
When it comes to the wedding ceremony, it’s believed it will take place in England, Joe’s native country. “Taylor wants her own version of Meghan Markle’s royal wedding,” said the insider. “Taylor’s ideal ceremony would be held in a classic old church with an organ playing, and Taylor would love to walk down the aisle in a white gown with a long train.”
She reportedly has 12 bridesmaids in mind, including her best friend Selena Gomez. “They’ve been BFFs for years and have stuck by each other through all their ups and downs. Selena is one of the very few people Taylor can rely on and trust,” added the source.
When it comes to the future, the pair want to become parents before turning 30. “They both share the same beliefs and, like Taylor, Joe is extremely family oriented, which in her eyes means that he’ll make a good husband and father,” revealed the source.
