Meghan Markle is one of a kind! During Prince Harry and Meghan’s second stop on their Australian Royal tour, Meghan continued to win over people’s hearts with a touching gesture. The Duchess of Sussex baked the Woodleys, a five-generation farming family that suffered from a drought, a ginger and chocolate chip banana bread.

According to Daily Mail UK, the royal couple was invited to attend an informal picnic-style lunch, so the mom-to-be took it upon herself to do something simple, yet very nice for the Woodley family. Meghan spent the previous night in preparation, baking the banana bread herself at the Admiralty House, the Australian Governor-General’s mansion. The Duchess further proves you can never be too busy to make someone’s day.

“We were so surprised, but it was incredibly nice of her, she made it last night when she knew she was coming to a family home,” Elaine Woodley told Daily Mail UK. Her daughter Benita added, “it was such a nice and thoughtful thing for her to do. We are really touched.”

Meghan was apparently worried about adding too much banana, but the banana bread turned out to be a hit. It was so good, it was devoured right away.

The Woodleys weren’t the only ones touched by Meghan’s sweet gesture. Fans all over the world shared their reactions to this humble act of kindness.

Some are totally invested.

Others wish they were besties with the Duchess (same!)

And others want to follow in her footsteps.

Regardless of what your thoughts on Meghan baking are, you must admit, it’s pretty cool to see one of the busiest and best known women in the world make the effort to help others, out of the kindness of her heart. Her charisma reminds us of how Princess Diana interacted with people and we’re reminded why Prince Harry probably fell in love with her in the first place. So sweet!
