You’re Doing Amazing, Sweetie! Ariana Grande Makes Her ‘KUWTK’ Debut in New, Sneak Peek Clip
Remember Ariana Grande‘s fun and nostalgic music video for her hit single, ‘thank u, next‘? The whole thing was a blast, but Kris Jenner‘s cameo was absolutely legendary. The only thing that could make it better would be behind-the-scenes footage — and luckily for us, the most recent sneak peek of KUWTK reveals Ari and Kris meeting on the set of the now-famous music vid.
“The fires are still burning in Calabasas, but the show must go on,” the 63-year-old said during her confessional, amid shots of her trying on costumes and prepping in her dressing room. “It’s the day of the shoot and I feel really excited to go make my Ariana Grande video debut.”
But when the 25-year-old singer actually came into the dressing room to greet the momager in her full Mean Girls get-up? We just about died, y’all. Plus, Ari told a story about a sweet gesture from Kris that totally made us “aww” out loud.
“She walked in with a Kylie box, like this big,” the natural brunette said. “I literally started crying my eyes out and I put everything on.” Clearly, our girl Ariana loves herself some Kylie Cosmetics! “She was so cute,” Kris said of the beltress opening the gift.
The Sweetener singer dropped her music video for the song that took the world by storm back on November 30, 2018 — and everyone was totally shook by the production value, plotline and cameos (yeah, Kris!). In the sneak peek clip, Ari went on to explain the “other set-ups” to Kris, where she lists Legally Blonde, 13 Going on 30 and Bring It On as the other recreations shot for the MV.
But possibly the best part of the clip is when the former Disney star said what anyone would if faced with the prospect: “Guys, I’m so excited to make my Keeping Up with the Kardashians debut!”
