Friendship goals! After BTSJungkook attended one of Ariana Grande’s recent L.A. shows, the K-Pop singer, 21, couldn’t help but praise the “God Is a Woman” crooner, 25, for her talent and stage presence.

On May 7, he tweeted a selfie with some merch from her concert and wrote, “I felt and learned a lot after seeing her stage. I am really challenged by her stage and will try harder! #ArianaGrande.” So sweet! It didn’t take long for Ari to take notice of his kind words.

She took to Instagram to post a selfie with him backstage and returned the love. “Screaming. Thank you soooooo much for coming to my show, Jungkook,” she captioned the pic. “It meant so much. Love you so much [sic].” Soon after, Ariana shared the same photo in black and white onto her Insta Story, which she turned into her new lock screen.

Fans are rejoicing at this friendly interaction and TBH, we don’t blame them. “Jungkook had idolized Ariana for years. Then he became a global superstar and he went to her show, saw her perform front row. She met him and thanked him for being there. I love happy endings,” tweeted one person. Meanwhile, another fan is hoping for the two to come together and work on music. “Jungkook and Ariana Grande know the world ain’t ready once they collab and show the amount of ad-libs they got,” they wrote.

It could happen! BTS recently collaborated with Halsey on “Boy With Luv,” and it’s such a bop. They performed the track together for the first time at the Billboard Music Awards on May 1, proving different cultures is not an issue, but a creative advantage.

When asked about working with BTS, Halsey had nothing but nice things to say. “I think that we show despite what seems like a language barrier for us is really just kind of unimportant when it comes down to a bunch of young people that really love music,” she told E! News on the BBMAs red carpet. “We just love hanging out and it really shows through.”

Here’s hoping we get an Ariana and BTS collab, too!
