Ariana Grande Wears Mac Miller’s Sweatshirt And Cuddles His Dog In Touching New Post

Our hearts continue to break for Ariana Grande. On Oct. 31, the “God is a Woman” singer took to Instagram to share yet another touching tribute to her late ex-boyfriend Mac Miller.

On Sept. 7, the “Ladders” rapper tragically passed away from an apparent overdose — leaving behind friends, family, and his beloved dog, Myron, to mourn his loss.

While we can’t be sure, it looks as though Ariana has taken in Myron to offer the pup some much-needed comfort. In the snapshot posted to her Instagram Stories, Myron is resting his head on Ariana’s shoulder. The 25-year-old also happened to be wearing one of Mac’s sweatshirts that reads: “I am not a rapper.”

The timing of Ariana’s post seemed hardly coincidental. On the same night, several musicians including John Mayer, Chance the Rapper, Travis Scott, and SZA performed at the Mac Miller: A Celebration of Life event to honor their friend and fellow artist. 

As it stands, no one has reported that Ariana attended the event herself and TBH, we don’t necessarily blame her. Between Mac’s passing and her recent split from fiancé Pete Davidson, Ariana’s friends and family have reportedly suggested that it’s time for her to focus on healing.

“It’s a miracle she’s still holding it together after everything she’s seen,” a source close to Ari recently told Heat magazine. “A lot of people think it would be good for her to take a break and get professional help.”

Despite the fact that Ari recently announced her Sweetener World Tour and has maintained her strong social media presence, those closest to her know that looks can be deceiving. “On the outside, it may seem like she’s OK, but deep down, she’s vulnerable,” the source continued.

Thankfully, there is one silver lining. According to Ari’s manager Scooter Braun, the brunette beauty has continued to find solace in her music. “Ariana expresses herself through her music and that will always be her therapy and her home,” the 37-year-old told People.

Here’s hoping that between Ariana’s passion for her work and some sort of professional help, she’ll be able to attain the peace of mind she so greatly deserves.
