Forget That’s So Raven, it looks like Pete Davidson has the power to predict the future now! Remember when the SNL star made that heinous joke about replacing Ariana Grande‘s birth control with Tic Tacs? Yeah, well, during that very same “Weekend Update” segment, Pete also happened to mention that he and his not-so-longtime fiancée were headed for Splitsville.

“You know, I don’t even get royalties for that ‘Pete Davidson’ song? Like, if we break up, and we won’t — we will — but we won’t. I’m kidding. But like in ten years if God forbid that ever happened, there will be a song called ‘Pete Davidson’ like playing in speakers at K-Mart and I’ll be working there,” the 24-year-old quipped. Yikes. We seriously doubt Pete is laughing now.

On Oct. 14, news broke that Pete and Ariana called it quits after just five months together. According to reports, both Pete and the “God is a woman” singer thought things were moving too quickly — especially after Ariana experienced the traumatic loss of her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller, in September. ICYMI: The “Self Care” rapper passed away from an apparent drug overdose at 26 years old.

“Ariana needs to take a minute away from the spotlight and just be alone to figure out who she is,” a source close to the 25-year-old confessed to Radar Online. “She is giving him the ring back and has no plans of getting back together with him,” the source added. If you’re a fan of Ariana, don’t be too worried, though.

The source added that while she’s “broken,” that Ariana is also “strong” and “surrounded by her family and loved ones” during this difficult time. As of now, neither Pete nor Ariana has commented on their breakup. However, the pop star did take to Instagram on Oct. 15 to share a non-related post about celebrating the 15th anniversary of Wicked.

Hmmm, perhaps after everything she’s been through, she’s focusing on the positive. Here’s hoping she pulls through this mess happier than ever!
