Ashlee Simpson’s Transformation From the Early 2000s to Today: See Photos!

If you’re a millennial, there’s a strong chance you were a big fan of Ashlee Simpson‘s music back in the day. After all, who could forget her 2004 album Autobiography?

Following the success of her debut record, featuring tracks like “Pieces of Me,” “Shadow” and “La La,” Ashlee released two more studio albums: I Am Me in 2005 and Bittersweet World in 2008.

During the height of her fame, fans began to speculate that Ashlee had plastic surgery, specifically a nose job. “I don’t get bothered by people saying what they say,” the Waco, Texas, native told Harper’s Bazaar in 2007. “I’m a happy person, and I’m happy with my looks.”

Although Ashlee didn’t explicitly reveal what procedure she had done, she did make it clear she’s confident in her own skin. “I loved how I looked. I’m not an insecure person, nor was I before,” the Ashlee Simpson Show alum assured, noting that going under the knife is “a personal” decision.

“I believe if somebody chooses to do plastic surgery, it [should be] for yourself, not for anyone else,” Jessica Simpson‘s sister said. “Everybody always has an opinion. One minute they’ll love you; one minute they’ll hate you. When you go home to sleep at night, [the important thing] is to feel good about yourself. And I do.”

Because Ashlee and Jessica were both pop stars, rumors began to circulate that the “Boyfriend” singer got surgery to look more like her older sibling. “Of course, I look like her. She’s my sister,” Ashlee laughed. “It’s like, God, please! We think it’s quite funny.”

Nowadays, Ashlee is less about fame and more about family! She shares kids Jagger Snow and Ziggy Blu with husband Evan Ross, as well as son Bronx Mowgli with ex-husband Pete Wentz. Ashlee, Evan and Pete “have an amazing, blended family,” a source previously told In Touch.
