Congratulations are in order! Bachelor in Paradise stars Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon got engaged on Sunday, June 17, People confirmed. Jared asked the big question while filming for the fifth season of the reality show spin-off of The Bachelor in Mexico.

Their relationship first kicked off three years ago on the second season of Bachelor in Paradise in 2015, but things didn't start off well, as Jared didn't mimic Ashley's feelings at the time. But things changed after the show and the two always remained good friends.

The couple finally confirmed their romantic relationship in May, and just last week, Jared exclusively told Life & Style that the two were already thinking about marriage. "We both think we've found 'the one,'" Jared, 29, shared. "We love each other. We're in love. We've made it." Ashley, 30, added, "I've thought about it. You don't think I've thought about it? Of course. I mean, it depends on the circumstances."

Ashley was previously in a relationship with Bachelor Winter Games co-star Kevin Wendt, but they broke up in March, and soon after, Jared sent Ashley a love letter that took him three days to write. "I was scream-crying basically alone in my apartment reading that just sobbing and sobbing," Ashley said of the sweet note.

And since they've rekindled, the duo has been comfortable with using the terms "husband" and "wife." Ashley explained at a radio event earlier this month, "I said, ‘Then you met your wife,' which is kind of crazy, but it’s just because we talk about the future all the time," Jared added, "I think we just both see each other as lifelong partners, so it’s not scary, for me personally, to call her my future wife." We can't wait for the big day!
