Inside Ashley Olsen’s Life as a New Mom: ‘Nothing Could’ve Prepared Her for the Joys’
Ashley Olsen didn’t have a normal upbringing. She and her twin sister, Mary-Kate Olsen, made their TV debut on Full House at just 9 months old and spent most of their childhood and tween years in front of cameras. But Ashley, 38, has gone to great lengths to try and give Otto — the son she welcomed with husband Louis Eisner in 2023 — more privacy.
“Having grown up in the spotlight with every single move under the microscope, Ashley wanted the exact opposite for Otto,” a source exclusively tells Life & Style. “And that has meant not bringing him in public, not talking about him [and] not posting about him.”
Those close to the Row designer can attest, though, that she’s an “amazing mom,” adds the source, even when she has a billion-dollar fashion empire to run. “Like any working [parent,] Ashley looks at pics of her kid 500 times a day and wants to be at every music class or gym class,” says the source. “Nothing could’ve prepared her for the joys of these moments with Otto.”
