It finally happened. Weeks after DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios shut down production on Bachelor in Paradise, the duo has reunited. Yes, DeMario and Corinne came face-to-face and they even shared a kiss — but it wasn’t what it looked like.

“They are just friends and wanted to hang out to talk about all the insanity of the last few months together,” a source close to DeMario revealed to Us Weekly. “They had an amazing time, but nothing romantic, even though it sure looked like it!”

Corinne, 25, captured the dance club reunion on her personal Snapchat, and it looks like DeMario, 30, is not the only one from Bachelor in Nation who has seemingly forgiven the blonde beauty. Danielle Lombard, Dean Unglert, and Robby Hayes were some of the other familiar faces in the clip. Upon leaving the nightclub, cameras spotted Corinne showering DeMario with kisses — proving that the whole scandal is officially water under the bridge.

Earlier, Life & Style reported that DeMario wanted to reunite with Corinne even after the sexual misconduct scandal. According to the insider, DeMario, 30, believed he and Corinne, 25, could reignite their flirty friendship.

DeMario and Corinne recently sat down for separate interviews with host Chris Harrison about the infamous incident that briefly shut down production on the new season of the hit ABC dating show. But DeMario actually wanted to do the interview together, the source tells Life & Style.

“He does hope they can put this behind them once Bachelor in Paradise finishes airing,” the insider said at the time. “They might even come together for the live Bachelor in Paradise finale, but that’s still being worked out.”

To recap, DeMario and Corinne were involved in an alleged sexual encounter, which temporarily shut down production on BIP in May. However, Warners Bros. found no evidence of misconduct and filming eventually resumed, with Season 4 premiering on Monday, Aug. 14.

In June, DeMario — who lost his job as an executive recruiter — recounted his experience with Corinne during an emotional interview with E! News. “It was stressful,” the LA resident said at the time. “For me, mostly for my mother.”

He added, “It’s hard to see your mom cry every single day. It was very difficult. My dad, he kept me extremely strong and kept me grounded and humble but having your mom cry every day for something that you know you didn’t do.”
