Purse Guy Revealed? Bachelor Nation’s Jason Tartick and Kelley Flanagan Spark Dating Rumors
Bachelor Nation is shook after Jason Tartick and Kelley Flannagan sparked dating rumors after their video circulated on social media platforms.
Jason, 36 appeared in a video Kelley, 33, posted on TikTok and Instagram on March 15 as they seemingly passed time while traveling in the backseat of a vehicle together.
“I’m not saying anything without my lawyer present,” the Bachelor alum mouthed over trending audio.
The camera cut to Jason, who said, “Ma’am you are the lawyer.”
Kelley reappeared in the frame and asked, “Then where’s my present?” and flashed a Chanel bag that Jason handed to her.
The video could have easily been viewed as platonic between the pair. However, Kelley has been talking about a man, who she fictionally named Sam, who gifted her a Chanel purse after accidentally spilling wine on hers during the Super Bowl in February.
“Wait a minute … is Jason purse guy?!” a fan asked in the comments section of Kelley’s TikTok video.
A second person asked, “Sam is it you?!??” leading Kelley to respond with laughing emojis.
Fans also shipped the pair in the comments section of Kelley’s Instagram post, leading a follower to write, “For years I’ve been saying these two would be a good match. Even when they were dating others lol.”
Jason appeared in the comments section of the Instagram post by sharing a handful of laughing emojis.
On February 12, Kelley filled her TikTok audience in on her love life and shared the story of “Sam” spilling wine on her Chanel bag. She said the beverage didn’t stain the purse, but the man insisted on getting a new one.
“Like there is no red wine stains in it, like it did not hurt it in any degree. So, all of his buddies are sitting there giving him grief, giving him a hard time. ‘Oh my God, you ruined her Chanel. It’s so expensive. You got to buy her a new one,’” Kelley recalled in the clip. “I see him like secretly taking a picture of my Chanel, and I’m like, ‘No, no, no, no, like, nothing is wrong with it. We’re all good, like it’s OK.’ But his friends would not stop giving him grief about it. And next thing I know. Guys, This is what I just got in the mail.”
After showing her newly gifted bubblegum pink Chanel micro handbag, Kelley noted that the sender was “not like a guy [she was] dating or seeing or whatever.”
Neither Kelley nor Jason have publicly confirmed or denied the dating rumors.
Jason appeared on Becca Kufrin’s season 14 of The Bachelorette in 2018 and was eliminated after hometowns. The “Trading Secrets” podcast host went on to date former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe the following year and got engaged in May 2021. Jason and Kaitlyn, 39, never made it down the aisle and split in August 2023.
Kelley, for her part, appeared on The Bachelor season 24 in 2020. Although the lawyer didn’t win Peter Weber’s final rose, they started dating later that year – after he and Hannah Ann Sluss ended their brief engagement before he picked his relationship back up with runner-up Madi Prewett. Kelley and Peter, 33, experienced a tumultuous on-again, off-again relationship that ended for good in April 2023.
