Show creator and OG cast member Shaunie O’Neal is still struggling with going through every mother’s worst nightmare. Her son Shareef O’Neal, whom she shares with her ex-husband, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, had to undergo open heart surgery and that emotional experience really changed her. Now, the 44-year-old is focusing on giving people second chances and spreading love to the people who have wronged her — which includes finding common ground with her ex.

Evelyn Lozada is working on being the best mother for her son and daughter but still seems to get caught up in the drama. Tami Roman is busier than ever but she’ll have to deal with some unresolved confrontations from the past.

Jackie Christie has a bad case of empty nest syndrome as she prepares for her son to go off to college. Meanwhile, CeCe Gutierrez is returning for her second with her boyfriend, Byron Scott. They are ecstatic about their future as husband and wife, but some tensions between them and their families might jeopardize their happily ever after.

Malaysia Pargo struggles to find a solution to all of the drama in her family while dealing with a rumor going around about her and her personal life. Kristen Scott is also being faced with an unexpected family secret that could cause everything she has built to collapse.
