She may look like Betty Boop but Bekah Martinez was more like Petty Boop on last night's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!. The 22-year-old nanny appeared on the late night talk show after her elimination from The Bachelor — and threw some shade Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s way.
"Well, I was hoping it would be Peter [Kraus] and it ended it up being Arie,” she told Jimmy of her former suitor. While we don't disagree with the petite brunette, the timing of her admission was very convenient. She also went on to explain what really happened with that missing person report.
"First of all, a lot of people thought I lied to my mother saying that I was on a farm when I was actually on The Bachelor but no I had already been eliminated from the show,” she added. "I just decided to go to the mountains with my friends for a couple weeks and I was there for six or seven days without phone service which I thought I was going to have phone service and I told my mother that I would."
She continued, "I just had this weird feeling like on the sixth or seventh day, I need to go home now. So I got in my car, drove to where I had service, called my parents and then come to find out only 12 hours before my mother had called the Humboldt Sheriff’s Department saying that I was missing."

Seems Arie, 36, was right to send Bekah home. Despite their strong connection, the former race car driver revealed he did not see them working out in the real world. "It’s hard because I don’t see our lives fitting together but I really, really liked her," he said. "You know, it just sucks." However, that did not make it easier for Bekah, who was completely blindsided. "It’s hard for me to accept that this is over… that this journey is over for me," she said between tears. It looks like she has finally accepted it.
So, who takes home the final rose? If you're impatient like us, you can read our spoilers here about who Arie picks as the winner — but click at your own risk! Also, be sure to join our Bachelor Facebook group to chat about all the latest updates, exclusive interviews, and juicy gossip!
