Benny shared the thoughtful gift he made for Selena on Valentine’s Day in February 2024, which ultimately won over the hearts of her fans.

In a TikTok video, the Dave actor revealed that he had the former Disney star’s favorite pickles, Best Maid Hamburger Slices, shipped to California because they are exclusively sold in Texas. He took fans through the process of making homemade fried pickles before showcasing the final product.

“Alright guys, take one, dip it [in] ranch, eat it, get laid,” he said, “Happy Valentine’s Day.”

The Way to Her Heart Is Through Her Stomach

Benny’s chef skills have earned him major points in his relationship with Selena. In April 2024, the Virginia native made the Rare Beauty founder a steak dinner, just because.

“I woke up early this morning and I was like, ‘I want to do something nice for my girlfriend.’ I was thinking, whenever I want to put a smile on her face or get laid, I just make her steak,” he said via Instagram at the time.

The pair celebrated their second Valentine’s Day surrounded by finger foods brought to life. Benny spelled out “I love you” with tortilla chips on their bathroom floor, in front of their tub filled with nacho cheese.

Let’s Taco-bout Their Proposal

Benny faked a Taco Bell commercial and orchestrated a set to make sure that Selena had no clue that he was going to propose in December 2024.

“First of all, getting engaged to someone is the craziest thing in the world,” Benny said next to Selena during a March 2025 appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. “It’s like, right before you’re gonna tell someone you’re gonna be married to them forever, they’re like, ‘Show me how good you can lie to me.’ It’s the hardest thing in the world. It’s so hard. I tell her everything, so she was just upset with me because the day before, I was, like, making bad lies.”

Will You Go to Prom With Me?

Selena’s dream of going to prom wasn’t stuck in the past after Benny put on a dance for the Emilia Pérez star.

In April 2025, the music mogul shared a video of himself asking Selena to prom and them getting dolled up. Benny wore a classic tuxedo, while Selena rocked a vintage cloudy purple dress. The couple drove around Los Angeles in a stretch limousine and made a pit stop at the mall to take professional prom photos in a department store.
