Like Mommy, Like Daughter! Blac Chyna Dyes Dream Kardashian’s Hair Blue
New ‘do! Blac Chyna took to her Instagram to reveal that she dyed daughter Dream Kardashian‘s hair blue to match her own dyed locks on April 10. Needless to say, we’re obsessed with the sweet 3-year-old’s stylish and fresh look.
“Dream wanted to have colored hair like mommy so I used @hairpaintwax in the color,” the 31-year-old captioned a series of two photos and one video of Rob Kardashian‘s daughter showing off her colored mane. She also noted that blue was Dreamy’s “favorite” color and added a blue heart emoji to hammer home her point.
According to the brand’s website, the product used was a “temporary water based hair coloring solution for those who want to try a new color every day of the week.” They say it’s “easy to apply, and easy to wash out, offers a strong hold with no damage to the hair.” Plus, the dye seemed perfect for little Dreamy, as it is best used on “curly, kinky, coily and loc’d texture” hair.
The proud mama spoke to Life & Style exclusively about her daughter’s gorgeous curls in December 2019. “As far as Dreamy’s hair, I think that she gets the curliness from me, but the texture from her dad,” the Washington D.C. native said. “But it’s pretty easy. I just wash it, condition it and it just grows out. She’s three … so, it’s not really hard to maintain her curls.”
She even dished on what products she uses on her daughter. “I use Redken and I use a different organic shampoo, but I try not to wash her hair every day so it doesn’t fall out,” Chyna explained. “Another thing that I do — all of her pillows are satin because cotton, it dries out your hair, but the satin pillows, it keeps the moisture.”
At the end of the day, it seems as though the toddler’s blossoming personality is even more lovely than her curls. “Dream, she’s so smart, so perfect,” Chyna gushed over her only daughter. “She’s already like, ‘Mommy let me bake you a cake,’ and do my makeup, the list goes on!”
Seems like mommy and daughter are making the most of quarantine!
