‘Black Ink Crew: Chicago’ Cast Is Stronger Together In Season 5 Sneak Peek (EXCLUSIVE)
They’re stronger together! VH1’s hit reality TV series Black Ink Crew: Chicago is returning for Season 5 on Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 9 p.m. EST/PST, and the cast will be looking a little different. After last season’s shakeup of the crew, 9mag shop owner and tattoo artist Ryan Henry is working hard to rebuild his brand. On Season 5, new artists will be emerging and some familiar faces will return as well, and fans will get to watch as the crew strives to salvage the true identity of 9Mag. Meanwhile, Ryan is finally putting his career and his professional brand first now that he recently became single, and he will work to reclaim his throne as the shop’s boss and Chicago’s tattoo kingpin.
Even though Van and Ryan have had a tense relationship, Van is still wearing his 9Mag tattoo with pride and he refuses to be excluded from the team. Charmaine tries to navigate life after she left 9Mag for the new shop, Loyal Ink, but she misses the excitement of the old crew. On top of all of the shop drama, Don is also working hard to repair his marriage and stepping up as a leader in the shop. After making strides in his music career, Phor is hopeful about the future of 9Mag. Lily has a renewed focus on her work, but she also won’t tolerate disloyalty.
