If you’ve been a fan of Keeping Up with the Kardashians for a long time, then you already know that Brandon Jenner and his wife, Leah James, were one of the sweetest couples the series has ever seen. Unfortunately, though, the pair announced their split in September 2018 after 14 beautiful years together — and basically, we’ve been in shock ever since.

After all, if a couple like Brandon and Leah can’t make it, who the heck can? Case in point: Brandon, 37, constantly — and we mean constantly — used to gush over his now-estranged ladylove. So much so, that we went ahead and compiled some of his sweetest quotes about Leah, 36, over the years … ya know, just to pour some salt in the wound.

“I couldn’t be more proud of this incredible woman,” Brandon wrote on Instagram in support of Leah’s new music just three months ahead of the duo’s split. “Leah, the world is so much better off with you in it. Everyone benefits when you share your music and bare your soul (especially our little Eva),” he continued. “May your energy and message continue to spread like ‘Wildfire.’”

Are you crying yet? Because we sure are. Beyond just supporting Leah’s musical career, Brandon loved to champion his wifey for being the greatest mother their daughter, Eva, could ask for. “Happy birthday to the love of my life and the best mother I know,” he gushed in November 2017.

“Eva and I are so lucky to have you looking after us and encouraging us to be our best. I’ve loved you since the first day I saw you and will continue to do so for as long as I live (and hopefully beyond).” Yep, we’re definitely crying now. If you thought that was heartbreaking … just wait until you read Brandon’s message for his five-year wedding anniversary in May 2017.

“Five years ago today, I married my soulmate. Leah, thank you for being the friend, wife and partner of my dreams. Living this life with you at my side gives me comfort and security, as well as the freedom to pursue my own ambitions and to embrace my own challenges,” the proud papa wrote.

“As we both strive to become a better parent, and more enlightened individually, we have witnessed our eternal bond grow deeper with each day. With all of the beauty and hope that this world has to offer, I know, without any doubt, the best thing I have going for myself, is you.”

*Pauses to wipe tears.* As much as we’d love for Leah and Brandon to get back together — especially after relieving these quotes — it seems as though the “In The Stars” singer has moved on. In fact, Brandon recently opened up about the potential of remarrying, saying he would “absolutely” consider it.

He then fawned over his new main squeeze, Cayley Stoker. “She’s really opened up my world in a way that’s made me really hopeful again about a lot of things,” he told Us Weekly. “That’s the greatest gift that anybody could give. I mean I can’t say enough good things about her.”

Sigh. So long as Brandon and Leah are committed to coparenting their little girl — which they absolutely are — we suppose we can do our best to move on from their breakup. That said … if they give things another shot, you better believe we’re throwing a party.
