Jenna Bush Hager and Brooke Shields Experiences Hilarious Chair Snafu: ‘Something Is Very Wrong’
Today With Jenna & Friends guest host Brooke Shields experienced an issue on set that “has never happened before.”
After walking out on set together, Shields and host of the show, Jenna Bush Hager, both took a seat behind the desk.
However, after Shields sat in her designated share, both Hager and Shields noticed something was “very wrong” as Shields sunk lower and lower.
“Wait, why are you?” Hager began to question as she looked down at Shields. “You guys, something’s wrong. Something is very wrong.”
“Why am I in the kids chair?” Shields quipped. “I get it, it’s your show,” she added with a laugh.
As they checked out what could possibly be wrong with the chair, Hager asked the model, “Is this the first time in your whole life you’ve ever felt not tall?”
Eventually, a member of the crew brought out a new working chair for Shields to sit on as the two carried on with the rest of the show.
“There’s the new chair,” Hager said as she clapped. “I got a chair. Okay.”
The comedic clip was shared on Instagram with the caption, “This has never happened before. We’re sorry, Brooke Shields.”
Fans in the comments also enjoyed the hysterical moment between the two women.
“Nobody put baby in the small chair,” a fan joked.
After Hager’s former co-host Hoda Kotb retired from the Today Show earlier this year, Hager has been welcoming a revolving door of celebrities to fill in as guest hosts.
Following their time together, several people in the comments praised Shields claiming she would make a great “permanent” co-host.
“Brooke would be the BEST co- host!” one commenter claimed. “Brooke would be a perfect permanent cohost!” another added.
