Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott — Get the Butterfly Emoji Meaning!

King Kylie has relinquished her title. Kylie Jenner is replacing her love of the crown emoji with the butterfly emoji — and eagle-eyed fans have noticed.

Following her split from Tyga, also known as King Gold Chains, the 19-year-old swiftly removed the crown from her Instagram handle. Now, her new obsession with the butterfly emoji is linked to her blossoming romance with the rapper Travis Scott.

Using the blue insect icon to send cryptic messages to one another, followers believe it’s meaning is rooted in Travis’ song, “Butterfly Effect.”

“She caught the waves just thumbin’ through my braids (alright) / Heatin’ up, baby, I’m just heatin’ up (it’s lit),” he raps in the NSFW hit. “Need ya love, not a need it is a must / Feelin’ stuck, you know how to keep me up / Icy love, icy like a hockey puck.”

Kylie is obviously a fan of the song and proved it when she first used the emoji on Instagram on May 10, posing seductively in a black thong that showed off all her curves. She took things to the next level a couple of weeks later when she posed completely naked, and once again captioned the sexy snap with the tiny butterfly emoji and a black heart.

However, Travis, 25, has also been showing his love for the KUWTK with the now infamous emoji too, tweeting, “Waiting on the [butterfly emoji]” on May 27. Exactly one hour later, Kylie replied with the emoji — seemingly confirming their romance.

Older sister Kim Kardashian is obviously a fan of the relationship, writing, “Love,” under the Twitter exchange.

Meanwhile, Kylie’s ex-boyfriend Tyga is having a hard time accepting this new relationship, shading the lip kit mogul publicly on social media by liking the comment “let her know she DON’T got the juice lol” on her page. According to Urban Dictionary, “juice” refers to street credibility.

Hate it or love it, Kylie and Travis just ruined the butterfly emoji for everyone.
