We’ve seen Caitlyn Jenner (formerly Bruce Jenner) as the righteous dad on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and now, you can expect to catch her working her butt off on the British version of I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!
The 70-year-old first joined the U.S. version in 2013, but now she’s decided to give it another go. “Last time, I did it with a bunch of people from the States who I knew of,” Caitlyn said in a press release. “This time, it’s a bunch of people from the U.K. who I potentially won’t know. But I love going over to the U.K. I love the British people, and I am looking forward to making some new friends, new allies and getting through it all.”
The show, which consists of overcoming a number of challenges in the jungle, will put more than just her survivor skills to the test. “Dealing with other people is by far the hardest thing,” she said. “It’s much more difficult than dealing with the most poisonous snakes in the world. That’s easy — just stay away from them!”
Caitlyn already feels confident about the competition and revealed she plans to use one of her best traits to her advantage. “I am definitely a peacemaker, and I do think I bring people together,” she added.
Speaking of unity, Cait recently reunited with some of the Kar-Jenners to celebrate her 70th birthday. Daughters Kylie and Kendall Jenner and stepdaughters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian accompanied the former athlete to dinner at Nobu on October 29. Caitlyn also took to Instagram to gush about all the love she received on her special day. “Birthday today! So blessed to have so much love in my life from family and friends,” she captioned a photo of flower arrangements.
While most people dread getting older, it seems to be the opposite for the reality star. “Cait is ready to push the envelope and show the world she’s body confident and ready to embrace her 70th birthday,” a source exclusively told Life & Style in early October. It turns out, Caitlyn has never felt better since her transition. You go, girl!
