Caitlyn Jenner’s Ex-Wife Subtly Drags Her for Ditching Brody Jenner’s Wedding
She’s one angry momma bear! Caitlyn Jenner’s ex Linda Thompson took to Instagram on June 7 to throw some serious shade at her former husband for not attending Brody Jenner’s wedding to longtime girlfriend, Kaitlynn Carter.
Linda’s subtle dig comes on the heels of news that Brody was crushed, but not surprised by Caitlyn’s absence. "Everyone was upset. Caitlyn was a distant dad [when Brody was growing up], and she hasn’t changed at all," an insider told In Touch. "She’s still the selfish father she always was."
Even if Brody has yet to publicly condemn his father, Linda wasn’t about to let Caitlyn get away with yet another letdown. While sharing a stunning video of her son’s wedding location, Linda made it clear who the better parent was.
"This is the location where [Brody] and [Kaitlyn] got married!" she began. "Yes, it’s on the other side of the world, but I would [have] gone to the moon and back to share in the joy of my darling son and his beautiful bride getting married," she wrote.
Oh, but she didn’t stop there! “That’s what parents do!” The 68-year-old concluded. The worst part? Caitlyn hardly had a solid excuse for skipping out on the nuptials.
"Caitlyn canceled her trip at the last minute," a source told In Touch. "She said she had plans she couldn’t get out of and was too busy," the source added. Plans, indeed. Caitlyn ended up attending Austria’s Life Ball with her rumored girlfriend Sophia Hutchins, 21, on June 2. Ouch! No wonder Brody is so hurt.
