When it comes to Chad Johnson’s taste in women, former Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson definitely fits the bill. That said, are the pair actually dating or was it all just a reality TV rouse? Speaking exclusively with Life & Style, the infamous Bachelor villain, 31, set the record straight about his status with The Girls Next Door alum, 33.

Let’s start off by addressing those photos of Chad and Kendra parading around town, shall we? “I was kind of being weird about it because I was like ‘f–k it, let’s have some fun with this.’ That was for a video we were doing. It’s for Barstool Sports — it’s for a funny skit. What you’re missing there is I actually did get her number and we plan on going out.”

A relationship that started off being for TV that turned into something real? Hmmm, sounds like the basis of every dating series ever … which is why, TBH, it totally makes for Chad. “Everyone’s like ‘oh are you dating now?’ And I’m like ‘I don’t know how to answer that because yeah it started as a skit but yeah we’re planning on hanging out,” the creator of ChadStuff continued. 

As far as what Chad sees in Kendra? Well, thankfully, he admitted that it’s more than just skin deep. Though, to be fair, he mentioned that, too. “I mean she’s exactly my type, you know. Blonde girls like that. She has that exact look I go for and she was super cool. We actually had a really good time.”

While the reality TV hunk no doubt seems smitten with Kendra, as it stands, she’s denied any romantic interest. In fact, her exact comment was “very much not” when asked if they were dating. Ouch.

Chad’s response? “Like ‘okay why did you give me your number then?’ I mean I don’t know. I’m not mad at her about it. I get it. She doesn’t want to be blasted online. I can only imagine if I’m getting blasted, I’m sure she’s getting blasted and it’s like ‘whoa, we had the equivalent of a 10 minute coffee date, you know what I mean?’ It was a good time.”

Well, it looks like only time will tell if something happens between Chad and Kendra. In the meantime, he did suggest that they go “grab and beer and some appetizers.” Sounds like a solid first non-fake date, if you ask us.
