Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan ‘Agreed Not to Rush Anything’ With New Partners for Daughter Everly
Just because Channing Tatum and ex-wife Jenna Dewan have found new partners, doesn’t mean that the former flames are looking to say “I do” any time soon. “Their separation is still fresh in Everly’s eyes,” a source exclusively told Life & Style of the pair’s daughter. “She’s only 6, so they agreed not to rush anything.”
That said, it looks as though things between Jenna, 38, and her beau, Steve Kazee, are getting pretty serious. So much so, that the Tony Award-winner, 43, spent Father’s Day with Everly. Unsurprisingly, Channing, 39, was less than thrilled. “He doesn’t mind Jenna dating Steve, he’s dating Jessie J, but he does mind them enjoying a Father’s Day outing,” an additional source said. “It just didn’t feel right.”
“Channing and Jenna are on the same page about not sending mixed signals to their daughter, but also letting her see that mommy and daddy get along and have new, special friends in their lives,” the source continued. “But this hit him hard.” Thankfully, Channing has the perfect distraction from his pain.
“He’s totally consumed by this love affair and wants to be with Jessie 24/7,” a third insider revealed to Life & Style. “They’ll spend the whole day in bed together, oblivious that there’s a world out there.” Hmmm, nothing like a whirlwind romance to keep your spirits high, right?
The insider went on to note that because Channing is “financially set,” he has a certain level of freedom to make his ladylove, 31, a priority. “He doesn’t have to hunt for work, so he may as well enjoy his time with the love of his life,” they explained. “He’s obsessed with Jessie and that’s all that seems to matter to him at the moment.”
Well, Jessie and little Everly, of course! Here’s hoping that Channing and Jenna continue to coparent peacefully.
