Jessie J Says Her ‘First Holiday’ With Boyfriend Channing Tatum Was ‘Wonderful’: ‘I Am Very Happy’
Going strong! Jessie J recently opened up about her relationship with boyfriend Channing Tatum, and it sounds like the pop star is more smitten than ever. “Oh, I am very happy on 21 Jump Street!” the 31-year-old told The Times in a story published on Saturday, June 15.
“I always look for a guy with a good sense of humor and good morals. And hygiene. A man who showers is very important,” Jessie added. Hmmm, seeing as we all know what Channing looks like in the shower, we certainly have to agree with Jessie’s sentiment.
Don’t get it twisted, though. Jessie and Channing’s relationship isn’t all sunshine and roses. After all, being in the spotlight can be both a blessing and a curse. “Chan and I got photographed before our relationship was even a thing and that created such pressure,” Jessie explained.
“We’ve needed time to get to know each other. We’ve just had our first holiday together, which was wonderful, but that’s all I’m saying.” Thankfully for Jessie, her 39-year-old actor beau feels the very same way … and then some!
“He’s totally consumed by this love affair and wants to be with Jessie 24/7,” a source revealed exclusively to Life & Style. “They’ll spend the whole day in bed together, oblivious that there’s a world out there.”
The insider went on to note that because Channing is “financially set,” he has a certain level of freedom to fully focus on his ladylove. “He doesn’t have to hunt for work, so he may as well enjoy his time with the love of his life,” they explained. “He’s obsessed with Jessie and that’s all that seems to matter to him at the moment.”
