Anyone who is into astrology will tell you it can get a little freaky when you first read your birth chart. It seems like Channing Tatum did just that, because the 39-year-old posted a hilarious video to Twitter about his experience with the astrology app, The Pattern — and the dude was totally shook.

“OK. I need, I need, um, some answers. Cuz … I don’t know if I’m late to this or if I’m early to this, but what is this Pattern s—t? It’s an app, I just downloaded it, called The Pattern and it asked me to put in my birthday and my time of birth,” the Magic Mike star explained about the app reading his astrological birth chart on July 12.

“By the way, how are you supposed to know your time of birth?” he paused to question the complexity of the info required. “I hope anyone who does this has a parent who loves them and that is half responsible because I don’t even know how I would have figured that out.”

But after that quick yet hilarious segue, he was back to questioning how the heck this app (and subsequently, his astrological placements) could be so accurate about him.

“Anyways, how do you know what you know about me, Pattern? People of the Pattern, people who use the Pattern need to DM right now and tell me how you know this stuff,” he continued animatedly. “I don’t even know if I wanna know, I don’t know if anybody should know this stuff.”

He even explained that the app’s placements for him were highlighting things he is currently working on in therapy, which is a pretty great sign, TBH.

“I was just in therapy yesterday — yes, I’m in therapy, whatever, everyone should be in therapy — and I just get a notification on my phone this morning, boop, pops up, and using the exact words we were using in therapy — is the phone listening? Are you listening through the phone, Pattern? AI, the algorithm that is the Pattern, are you listening through my phone and just regurgitating stuff that I’m afraid of and the stuff —” he raved before cutting himself off quickly to call for a solution to the madness.

“You know what, Pattern people, you should just call me. That’s what should happen right now,” he closed out his request vid, clearly shook to the core by what he’d learned. “You should just DM me; if you know so much, you know how to get in touch with me, now don’t ya, so just … do that. I need answers right now.”

Though we don’t know if Channing’s GF Jessie J introduced him to astro or the app itself, we do know the singer is the Aries to the former dancer’s Taurus … a.k.a. two stubborn Earth signs coming together as one. It can be challenging (hello, those horns) but oh so rewarding, so it makes sense these two are romancing under the stars.
