Charlize Theron Denies Bachelor Peter Weber Sliding into Her DMs

If you were shipping Charlize Theron and Peter Weber after their flirty, yet punny, exchange on Instagram, we have some bad news for you. It turns out, it’s highly unlikely this pair will ever end up together after the actress denied that the Bachelor star slid into her DMs.

“No,” she told Entertainment Tonight in an interview published on January 2 when asked if he’s messaged her. “I don’t even know really what a DM is, let’s be honest. Maybe yes? I don’t think so. No. I think it’s all in fun.”

Charlize revealed there’s nothing romantic going on between them — she’s simply a fan. “I love the show,” she continued. “Look, he’s like half my age — not that that should matter, but, no, he’s great. I’m super excited. I love the show. I’ve missed it. And I’m just so glad that the show premieres in the winter when it’s dark early because my kids don’t know what time I send them to bed but like 5:45 p.m. As soon as it’s dark, [I watch The Bachelor].”

On December 29, Charlize shared a photo of herself posing alongside a poster of Peter. “Turbulence I like,” she captioned it. Shortly after, Peter seemingly responded by posing alongside a poster of Charlize and wrote, “Turbulence can be fun.”

TBH, it makes total sense that Charlize isn’t a potential contender for Peter’s heart. After all, his season of The Bachelor kicks off on January 6, so there is plenty of potential there, including ex Hannah Brown, who’s expected to make a return.

Chris Harrison spilled some deets about where Peter and Hannah stand. “I think it’s something that needed to be dealt with, the relationship,” the host divulged to . “I think it’s a relationship that didn’t have a clean, clear break. I think , and some underlying feelings that maybe they thought they had both dealt with. I knew once they saw each other, they probably hadn’t really dealt with them all, so I think it’s a hurdle that we needed to clear before we moved forward.”
