Fans Come For Chris Brown’s LIFE After He Posts Flirty Comment On Rihanna’s Instagram
Is it 2009? Fans are experiencing déjà vu with the latest Instagram flirtation between Rihanna and Chris Brown. The consensus: Fans are not into it. Rihanna posted a couple of super sexy topless photos promoting her holiday Savage x Fenty lingerie collection. The racy pics include the singer in red undies and black stockings rolling around in a bed. Chris obviously liked what he saw and commented the wide-eyed “flushed” emoji. Yeah, no thanks, buddy.
Even though Rihanna did not comment back or make any mention of Chris’ comment, people were not here for it and immediately made their feelings clear about any possible romance between the “With You” singer and Rihanna. Chris got roasted in most of the comments. One user simply replied, “Go away,” and another felt like Chris didn’t “deserve” to even comment on RiRi’s Instagram.
Chris’ comment raised a lot of eyebrows because he seldom comments on Rihanna’s photos. Last year, he responded to a picture of Rihanna in another steamy outfit during the 2017 Crop Over Festival in Barbados. Chris’ comment of two eyeball emojis was equally confusing back then, as well.
As most fans know, the couple was all over headlines after Chris assaulted Rihanna the morning before the 2009 Grammy awards. He was arrested following the attack and sentenced to five years probation. The couple briefly got back together in 2013 but broke up a few months later.
Rihanna later shared with Vanity Fair, “And if you put up with it, maybe you are agreeing that you [deserve] this, and that’s when I finally had to say, ‘Uh-oh, I was stupid thinking I was built for this.’ Sometimes you just have to walk away.” She continued, “I don’t hate him. I will care about him until the day I die. We’re not friends, but it’s not like we’re enemies. We don’t have much of a relationship now.”
For now, it looks like Rihanna is keeping her distance. However, we’ll see if Chris has anymore emojis in his arsenal.
