Baby’s First Stroll! Christina Anstead Says Her Walk With Newborn Son Hudson Was a ‘Success’
It’s been less than two weeks since Christina Anstead gave birth to her son, Hudson, and already, he’s stepping out into the world! The 36-year-old took to Instagram on Monday, September 17, to document the experience.
“First stroll was a success,” Christina wrote on an Insta Story snap of her baby boy sleeping in his stroller. Two days prior, she shared a photo with her 8-year-old daughter, Taylor, posing alongside Hudson and their mama. “Our first outing was a success. Hudson slept, Tay scored!” she captioned the pic. Aw, how sweet!
The Christina on the Coast star welcomed her son on Friday, September 6, and thankfully, the delivery went smoothly. “Ant [Anstead] and I are so excited to welcome Hudson London Anstead into the world,” she wrote on an Instagram post at the time. “Our hearts are SO full of love and joy! 💙 Our healthy baby boy was born this morning- 9/6/19 — 7 lbs 7 oz 19.5 inches long.”
A week prior to Hudson’s arrival, Christina revealed in a personal Instagram post that she was planning to have a c-section when delivering Hudson. After she suffered some complications with her 4-year-old son, Brayden, the blonde beauty wanted to be as cautious as possible. “Well … Here we go @ant_anstead … our world is about to get rocked — in all the best ways, of course,” she shared. “One week until my scheduled c-section. I chose to do this because I had an emergency c-section with Brayden and the whole experience and recovery was really hard on me physically and emotionally.”
“Based on ultrasound measurements we think this is going to be another big boy so this is the direction we’ve decided to take,” she continued. “The nursery is ready, the kids are back in school, I’m not sleeping, irritable and uncomfortable. I’m definitely ready to be done and to meet our little man. One week countdown.”
Now, Christina is dedicating her time to him and her other two children, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa. Unlike Christina, Tarek, 38, doesn’t seem to want more kids — for now. “I have an amazing 4-year-old and an amazing 8-year-year old,” he told Life & Style exclusively at HGTV’s A Very Brady Renovation premiere on September 5. “I’m trying to wrangle those two, right. It’s good enough for me right now.”
Besides, parenting is not easy, so it’s understandable. Considering Taylor recently joked that Christina and her hubby, Ant, look like zombies since Hudson was born, it seems like the couple is having some restless nights. However, we’re sure they’ll adjust soon!
