He’s Here! ‘Flip or Flop’ Star Christina Anstead Gives Birth to a Healthy Baby Boy Via C-Section
And baby makes … seven! Flip or Flop star Christina Anstead gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Friday, September 6, via C-section with her husband, Ant Anstead, by her side. “Ant and I are so excited to welcome Hudson London Anstead into the world,” she shared on Instagram. “Our hearts are SO full of love and joy! 💙” The star revealed her newest little one weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and measured 19.5 inches long.
Just one week prior, the blonde beauty, 36, took to Instagram to reveal she would not be going the natural route after a scary experience with son Brayden. “Well … Here we go @ant_anstead … our world is about to get rocked — in all the best ways, of course,” she wrote, referring to her first child with the hunky British host. “One week until my scheduled c-section. I chose to do this because I had an emergency c-section with Brayden and the whole experience and recovery was really hard on me physically and emotionally.”
She added, “Bray was 8lbs 13oz. After pushing for hours and hours, he was just stuck, and his heart rate was dropping. Based on ultrasound measurements we think this is going to be another big boy so this is the direction we’ve decided to take. The nursery is ready, the kids are back in school, I’m not sleeping, irritable and uncomfortable. I’m definitely ready to be done and to meet our little man. One week countdown.” Luckily, it’s all over now for the reality TV mama!
Christina and Ant tied the knot in 2018 and announced they were expecting in March. “@ant_anstead and I are so excited to announce #babyanstead coming this September!!” Christina wrote, along with a photo of the sonogram. “The kids are all so excited to meet their new sibling ♥️ #5 #Gonnaneedabiggercar! 🚌 😂” Ant shared his own version of the announcement at the time and said, “And then…… there were FIVE!!! (Well …. four and a half! Will be five in September)!! 🙏🏻❤️🔥🔥”
As for Christina’s ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa? Well, her Flip or Flop cohost has happily moved on as well. He’s currently dating Heather Rae Young and things seem to be going well. On August 9, the two went Instagram offish. “It’s official!!!! After more than three years on my own, I’m so PROUD to say that this beautiful, sweet and talented young lady is my girlfriend!” he began. “I’ll be honest and say I never thought I would meet someone special in my life after the last three years. Then, out of the blue, @heatherraeyoung walked into my life. The first time I saw her smile she ‘did that thing to my tummy’ and I knew right away I needed to get to know her … so I asked her out!! She said yes.” Aww.
Baby Anstead joins Brayden, 3, and Taylor, 8, from Christina’s relationship with Tarek and Archie, 12, and daughter Amelie, 15, from Ant’s relationship with his ex Louise.
