The emotional rollercoaster is real, y’all. On December 29, ALDC founder, Abby Lee Miller, confirmed that she would be returning for season 8 of the hit Lifetime series Dance Moms. Now, a little over a month later, the official trailer has dropped. While the reality star’s battle with Burkitt lymphoma — a rare form of cancer — has been well-documented on social media since her diagnosis in June 2018, nothing could have prepared us for just how raw this behind-the-scenes footage is. Prior to Abby’s cancer diagnosis, she was rushed to the hospital after suffering an incredibly rare spinal infection that left her paralyzed from the neck down.

Will We Get to See Any of Abby’s Old Crew?

Based on social media, we know that Abby keeps in touch with a few of the OG Dance Moms girls, especially JoJo Siwa, but there’s been no confirmation as to whether any of them will pop up during season 8.

The Dance Moms alum recently took to YouTube to discuss why she was “kicked out” of the ALDC and based on the tea she spilled, it’s highly unlikely we’ll ever see her in front of the Lifetime cameras again.
