Danielle Fishel’s Husband Shares Sweet Note About Her as Time on DWTS Comes to an End

Danielle Fishel’s journey on Dancing with the Stars has come to an end, but her husband Jensen Karp made sure she felt every ounce of love and pride from home.

The 44-year-old posted a moving message to Instagram after Fishel and her dance partner, Pasha Pashkov, were eliminated during week 8’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Night on Tuesday, November 4 — which also happened to mark the couple’s seventh wedding anniversary.

“I COULD NOT BE MORE PROUD OF THIS WOMAN! Elite 8, but number 1 to me (and the boys) always,” Karp wrote alongside photos of Fishel.

The couple shares two sons together, Adler, 6, and Keaton, 4.

He continued, witing, “What a journey, what a force. And to leave on the perfect 40 team score? Love it. And I love YOU @daniellefishel!!!”

Via a comment under the Instagram post, Pashkov wrote, “A true champ!!!!!🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌.” Actress Andrea Barber also chimed in, writing, “Doesn’t need a mirrorball to be a champion in our hearts. 💞🪩”.

Karp and Fishel tied the knot in Los Angeles on November 4, 2018, and throughout the competition, he’s been one of her biggest cheerleaders.

Earlier that day, before the live show, Karp shared a behind-the-scenes photo of Fishel rehearsing on a fog-covered stage, writing, “Happy anniversary.” He encouraged followers and fans to vote for Fishel and Pashkov “in lieu of gifts” to mark the special occasion.

Her dance tonight is so fitting (and so special),” Karp wrote, referring to Fishel’s contemporary routine to Aerosmith’s “Dream On.”

“She will be telling a story about the difficulties women face in our society—whether it’s higher standards, the struggles of working moms, or the endless, conflicting expectations. And yet, my wife handles it all with grace and composure.”

He then ended his post with a touching note, “I’m so happy the world gets to see her determination, joy, and unwavering support for friends every week on their TVs. She’s a superhero—and now she’s a superhero who can do the Viennese Waltz.”

Fishel later reposted her husband’s tribute on her Instagram Story, writing, “Happy anniversary, my love. Thank you for your unwavering support and dedication to our family, which is the ONLY reason I’ve been able to have the GIFT of @dancingwiththestars.”
