Almost engaged! Kate Hudson’s boyfriend, Danny Fujikawa, is finally ready to pop the question after asking the 39-year-old actress’ stepfather, Kurt Russell, for his blessing, sources told Life & Style magazine, on newsstands now.

The couple, who welcomed daughter Roni in early October, “have talked about getting married once the baby was born, but Danny still wanted to get Kurt’s approval,” spilled a source close to Kate, who was married to 14-year-old son Ryder’s dad, Chris Robinson, and engaged to 7-year-old son Bing’s pa, Matt Bellamy. “Danny’s very traditional. He said that while he has years before their little girl starts dating, he would expect the same exact thing from her future husband.”

We wouldn’t be surprised if we see Kate share some details about her potential big day as the actress has always been very open with her personal life, like she was during her last pregnancy. The mom of three has been keeping fans in the loop on her major milestones through social media, such as the announcement of her daughter’s name, which is Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa. “We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa,” she wrote on an Instagram post in early October. “Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor.” The Bride Wars actress is also a fan of sharing her day-to-day activities on the photo app, like silly moments with her kids and hubby, or her killer workout selfies.

Kate and Danny have been together for a little over a year now and now that they have a daughter, it’s only natural that they take the next step in their relationship. After Kurt gave them his blessing, it’s just a matter of time they tie the knot!
