Deena Cortese’s Wedding Also Served as a Mini ‘Jersey Shore’ Reunion!
Her wedding was a blast in a glass! Jersey Shore alum Deena Cortese got married to her longtime love Chris Buckner on Saturday, Oct. 28 in a gorgeous wedding ceremony at Laurita Winery in New Egypt, NJ. But what would her wedding be without her Jersey Shore co-stars? Her nuptials also served as a mini-reunion and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio, Vinny Guadagnino, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, and Jenni “JWoww” Farley were all in attendance. Watch the video below to see sweet moments from Deena and Chris’ wedding!
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Jersey Shore wedding if the bride didn’t fist bump her way out after her introduction! Deena looked so happy and she has been documenting her journey to becoming a wife on social media ever since they first got engaged last November. Deena documented everything from her bridal shower to her surprise bachelorette party, and she even shared a photo of the touching way she decided to pay tribute to her father, who passed away in 2016, with a custom-made charm.
“Even though you won’t be with me tomorrow physically..I’ll have a piece of you with me and close to my heart while I’m walking down the aisle,” she wrote in the caption of a photo of the charm. “I love and miss you daddy…I cut a piece of his shirt and sewed it to my dress next to my heart.”
Deena is the third person from the Jersey Shore cast to walk down the aisle. Jwoww married her husband Roger Mathews tied the knot in October 2015. Snooki was the first to tie the knot, and she wed her husband Jionni LaValle in December 2014.
