Throwing Caution To The Wind?

It looks like Demi is avoiding her family’s wishes by shacking up with Henri. On Nov. 21, Radar Online reported that those closest to the “Sober” singer are totally against her romantic relationship with the fashion designer.

Demi’s Mom Would Not Approve…

“Demi’s mom, as well as her entire family, wanted Henri out of the picture the minute that they saw the two of them together,” a source close to the 26-year-old’s mom, Dianna Hart, told the outlet. “Henri is newly sober and he is not the type of guy that Demi should be associating herself with right now.”

Is Henri The Best Influence For Demi Right Now?

The source went on to reveal that while Henri may be clean, he “still runs” in the “Hollywood circles” that Demi’s mother wants her to avoid at all costs. “Several people have come to Dianna and told her that he is not a good influence since the two were seen together,” they added.

She Has To Make Her Own Decisions…

“Demi is acting on her own accord again and everyone is worried sick,” the source said. “There is only so much that her family can do. The rest is up to her.”

With Demi fresh out of rehab, perhaps Henri is the exact influence she needs. After all, he’s had his fair share of struggles with drugs.

“I was, like, a f–k up in high school,” Henri told Complex in 2016. “I was caught up in drugs and s–t like that.” Thankfully, Henry has a come a long way since then. Much like Demi’s music has always been a source of therapy for her, Henri has his own creative pursuits.

He Maintains His Sobriety Through His Art!

“I look at a successful day, like, did you make something?” he continued. “Even if [the] business is great, I don’t value a day as a good day if I didn’t make something — whether it be a s—–y punk song or a tight drawing, or painting. If I didn’t make something, the day doesn’t sit well with me. I think that’s kind of keeping me straight now.”

“They hit it off immediately and became fast friends. Henri takes his sober life very seriously and, when Demi sadly relapsed, they lost touch for some time,” a source previously revealed to Entertainment Tonight. Well, it certainly looks like that friendship has turned into something more.
