Don’t Mess With Dallas! Demi Lovato’s Sister Slams Body-Shamers In IG Live Video
Family will always have each other’s backs. Singer Demi Lovato’s sister Dallas Lovato proved that saying true recently when she clapped back at fans for continuing to make comments on Demi’s body and weight after she posted a post-workout selfie from a Jiu-Jitsu class. Demi has been doing a lot to get her life back on track after her recent departure from rehab, and Dallas was clearly not having all the unnecessary comments diminishing her sister’s experience and progress.
In response to the constant comments about her sister’s body, looks, and weight, Dallas posted a live video on Instagram Stories discussing the negativity surrounding Demi since she’s been back in the public eye. “Go f–ck yourself because she’s the most beautiful, strong, amazing person that I’ve ever met in my entire life,” Dallas told body-shamers in the video.

“And everyone, why are you making my sister’s body the topic of your conversation? Go f–k yourself,” Dallas continued, questioning those who have been vocal since Demi started posting more photos preaching positivity and giving insights into her post-rehab life. “I’m sorry, my sister is beautiful, she’s alive, and she’s conquering a lot of really hard s–t. I’m just saying.” Preach it, Dallas!
On Dec. 4, Demi took to Instagram to share a cute selfie after a Jiu-Jitsu class, and the singer looked happy, healthy, and proud of herself. “Sweaty messy Jiu Jitsu hair,” she captioned the post, complete with the hashtag #nevergiveup. A lot of fans gathered on the post to share their support for Demi as she gets her life on track. “I’ve missed you beauty!” one fan commented on the picture, and many others had similarly sweet things to say.
Demi has dealt with so much body-shaming throughout her career, and she’s been vocal on her struggles with an eating disorder and body image. You think the trolls would give her a break. But with all she’s been through, we know Demi is one of the strongest out there. She can handle it –– especially with a seriously amazing sister to have her back.
