Denise Richards’ Dating History: The ‘Wild Things’ Actress’ Husbands, Boyfriends and Past Relationships

Reports claim that Denise and Patrick Muldoon, who starred in Starship Troopers together, dated in 1998.

The starlet discussed her relationship with Patrick during an episode on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and shared that he is still a close pal.

Patrick is such a good friend that he was invited to Denise’s oncamera wedding with husband Aaron Phypers in 2018, which was filmed for season 9 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. During cocktail hour, Patrick was teased by RHOBH’S Lisa Rinna, Lisa Vanderpump, Camille Grammer and Dorit Kemsley for dating Denise at the same time as he dated Rinna.

Charlie Sheen

Denise and Charlie first met in 2000 while filming the movie Good Advice. Their working relationship turned romantic the following year when the Wild Things actress made a guest appearance on the sitcom Spin City, which Charlie starred in alongside Heather Locklear and Michael J. Fox.

Charlie got down on one knee by the end of 2021 and the couple said “I do” on June 15, 2002.

The Scary Movie 3 costars welcomed their first child, daughter Sami Sheen, in March 2004. By 2005, Denise filed for divorce from Charlie while six months pregnant with daughter Lola Sheen.

However, the family of four briefly gave their marriage another shot after Denise gave birth to Lola that June.

Denise and the Two and a Half Men actor ultimately separated and officially divorced in 2006.

John Stamos

Denise and John Stamos casually dated after her split from Charlie.

Reports claimed that the Special Forces star called the hunky Full House uncle the greatest lover she’s had – but Denise cleared up the confusion in 2009.

“I never said he was the greatest. I just said, ‘He’s great,’” she told the New York Post at the time.

Richie Sambora

Denise and musician Richie Sambora briefly dated and it caused havoc in Hollywood.

Richie was previously married to Heather in 1994 before she filed for divorce in February 2006. Around that time, Denise and Richie ignited their romantic flame, despite the Drop Dead Gorgeous actress’ close friendship with Heather.

“I did not steal someone’s husband,” Denise previously told Us Weekly. “Did I date a former friend’s ex-husband? Yes. Did I break up a marriage? No.”

In December 2010, Denise confirmed she and Mötley Crüe band member Nikki Six were casually dating.

“What’s considered dating?” the reality star asked Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. Denise shared that she and Nikki had been neighbors for years and went on a couple dates.”

“If anything’s going to develop, you want it to develop on its own,” she continued. “That’s the God’s honest truth. We’re taking it very slowly.”

Denise and Nikki ended their romance the following month.

Aaron Phypers

Denise’s relationship with husband Aaron was displayed during her time on RHOBH between seasons 9 and 10.

The couple took their relationship public in 2017 when they were spotted together for the first time. Aaron quietly proposed to Denise in January 2018, while going through his divorce with ex-wife Nicollette Sheridan. They finalized their divorce that August.

Denise and Aaron exchanged vows in Malibu on September 8, 2018, which was featured in season 9.

Although they do not share kids together, Aaron started the process of adopting Denise’s youngest daughter, Eloise Joni Richards, in 2019. Denise adopted Eloise in 2011.

The couple are still together as of publication.
