Reality Star Power Couple? Derek Peth From ‘The Bachelor’ and Stephanie Pratt Went on a Date
Worlds collide! Derek Peth from JoJo Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette was set up on a date with The Hills alum Stephanie Pratt recently, and it seems like sparks are flying.
Derek — who was previously engaged to Bachelor in Paradise costar Taylor Nolan — was set up by his buddy Wells Adams, since he cohosts a podcast with Stephanie called “Pratt Cast.” The 31-year-old didn’t even know who the blonde beauty, 32, was and never watched her dramatic television show.
Apparently, the date didn’t get off to the best start, though. “It took an hour and 15 minutes before Steph finally showed up,” the handsome hunk revealed to Wells, 34. “Her reasoning is she was in Hawaii and they don’t have daylight savings time, and she never changed her clock, and she thought it was a different time. Probably the third thing I said to her was you need to pick out food because the kitchen closes in ten minutes.”
Even though the night started out a bit rocky, the Iowa native revealed that it actually ended up going well. “I was pleasantly surprised — she’s a lot smarter than I thought and very quick. There was not an empty dull moment.”
So, what exactly did the duo do on their rendezvous? “We went to two Irish bars,” he divulged. “We met a couple and bar hopped with them for two hours. I am into it. I would definitely see her again.”
Oh, and naturally, a ~steamy~ make out session went down before they said their goodbyes. “She suggested I stay longer,” the ABC alum confessed. “I think it would be cool to do New York.”
Since the California native wasn’t present during the chat, she posted her thoughts about the epic night out on Instagram. “Where to begin?! My cohost @wellsadams set me up on a blind date last Sunday with his bestie @pethderek … I kinda made the date,” she wrote. “However, I did not make it to the #PrattCast studio the next to talk about it. The boys roast me on last week’s episode!! It’s hilarious. Today, I was able to tell my side of the story!! Listen to last week’s now!!! Link in bio — it’s a LOLZZZZ episode!! And today’s episode will be live as well.”
During the March 25 episode, the FIDM graduate said, “He’s a great guy, like a great guy. I need to hang out with him again.”
We hope that these two go on a second date!
