Benson Boone’s Ex-Girlfriend Maggie Thurmon Claims He Cheated In Since-Deleted TikTok
Benson Boone may have one less “Beautiful Thing” after his split from Maggie Thurmon — and according to her, the breakup wasn’t exactly clean.
The 21-year-old singer came under fire this week after Maggie, his ex-girlfriend, posted a since-deleted TikTok on Tuesday, October 14, seemingly accusing him of cheating during their relationship.
In the video, Maggie used the trending audio, “remember how it felt when he cheated on you, though?” Her response? “Which time?”
Fans quickly flooded the comments, shocked by the revelation. When one user wrote, “Bro if Benson cheated I will turn this car right around,” Maggie cheekily replied, “Put your blinker on babe.”
The post quickly made the rounds online before Maggie deleted it. A few hours later, she appeared to address the situation again in the comments of an older TikTok from October 6, writing, “I got overwhelmed. I’ve always been a more private online person, tonight I remembered why. Thank you to everyone who was sending love, I appreciate yall so much.❤.”
The alleged cheating accusations come just weeks after TMZ confirmed Maggie and Benson’s split in September. At the time, fans noticed the pair had unfollowed each other on social media, sparking speculation. A source told the outlet that they “are no longer together, though it’s unclear what led to the split.”

Meanwhile, Benson seemed to indirectly reference their breakup during a recent live performance. “Sometimes people leave your life. Whether it’s the right thing or the wrong thing. And it is always hard, always, every single time,” he tearfully told the crowd. “And it sucks. And it sucks to sit in it, and it sucks to be sad about it, and it sucks to feel that so hard sometimes. But it’s okay, it’s life. It happens. And as terrible as it is, there’s always something or someone who can pull you out of it.”
Benson, 23, and Maggie first sparked dating rumors in March 2024 when they were spotted together at Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing party. They made their relationship Instagram official three months later. Over the following year, the couple appeared at several major events, including the Twisters premiere in July 2024, the VMAs that September, and the 2025 Grammys.
Though their romance has since ended, Benson previously gushed about Maggie in a November 2024 interview with Entertainment Tonight, praising her character. “It’s her whole personality, who she is,” he said. “She’s the sweetest and the kindest.”
