Did Post Malone and His Fiancee Break Up? Clues the Singer Is Dating Christy Lee After Reported Split
Post Malone revealed to the world in June 2022 that he had secretly gotten engaged to the mother of his daughter and his girlfriend of two years, whose identity was never revealed to the public. However, before the couple could make it down the aisle, reports surfaced in March 2025 that the “I Fall Apart” singer and his mystery fiancée had split. The reports came after Post was spotted with a woman named Christy Lee, who is rumored to be his new girlfriend.
Did Post Malone and His Fiancee Split?
Post, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, reportedly broke things off with his fiancée in late 2024, sources told TMZ on March 6, 2025.
The “Sunflower” hitmaker kept his relationship with the mystery woman, known only as Jamie by fans, very private. He did not share any photos with her on social media, and she appeared to stay away from online platforms.
While the exact start date of their relationship is unknown, the former couple was first seen together in 2020. Post later confirmed in May 2022 that he and his girl were expecting their first child together.
“I’m excited for this next chapter in my life. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, and for [as long as] I could remember I was sad. Time to take care of my body and my family and friends, and spread as much love as we can every day,” he told TMZ at the time.
One month later, Post confirmed on The Howard Stern Show that his girlfriend was actually his fiancée and that they had already welcomed their daughter. He also explained on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast in August 2023 that his initial engagement proposal happened in Las Vegas.
“We’re not married — it was just a proposal,” Post said. “I had lost a significant amount of money at the table. We go upstairs and I’m off my rocker hammered and I was like, ‘Hey, you wanna marry me?’ I got a ring and all this stuff. And she said ‘no.’ She’s like, ‘Ask me tomorrow’ and I was like, ‘Alright.’ And then I did and I was sober and it was nice.”
Post Malone Was Spotted With Rumored New Girlfriend Christy Lee
Following his reported split from his fiancée, Post seemingly moved on with a woman who has been identified by multiple outlets as Christy. The pair were first photographed together in Rome in January 2025, walking to dinner at the Mascagni Hotel, according to TMZ.
Christy and Post were later seen in a March 2025 TikTok video shared by a fan, who recorded the rumored couple sitting at a local bar. The Grammy nominee had one hand in Christy’s lap as he used the other hand to wave at the fan.
“Post Malone randomly showing up in your small hometown bar and saying hi to you,” the user wrote over the video.
Sources told TMZ in March 2025 that Christy and Post “have been seeing each other since at least the beginning of this year.”

While not much is known about Christy, TMZ reported that she is a student at the Parsons School of Design in New York City and landed an internship with celebrity stylist Kristina Askerova in 2024.
