A Celebrity Tattoo Artist Posted A Pic That Looks Like Taylor Swift But Fans Aren’t Convinced
Swifty, is that you? It looks like Taylor Swift may have gotten a tattoo in NYC but fans aren’t quite convinced. Celebrity tattoo artist, Jon Boy, recently posted a photo of a blonde woman with a tattoo on the back of her neck and tagged the “Ready For It” singer in the pic. Although you can’t see the person’s face, this obviously alludes to the idea that it’s Taylor with the new ink. However, the Reputation singer’s fans aren’t here for the mystery and don’t believe the woman in the photo is actually Taylor.
The photo shows a mystery blonde wearing a black turtleneck and dainty rose-shaped gold necklace. The necklace looks like it was the inspiration for the rose tattoo on the back of her neck. Jon Boy captioned the photo with a rose emoji and no further explanation as to why he tagged Taylor.
Fans flooded the comments claiming that the woman in question is not the famous singer. “It’s not Taylor’s hair, it isn’t even Taylor’s neck,” one person commented. “And, she doesn’t even wear a rose necklace…CAN WE TAKE THIS AS A HINT.” Jon Boy also geotagged the photo “Welcome to New York,” a song from Taylor’s 1989 album, which fueled his claim that the woman in the photo has something to do with the singer.
One person theorized that woman is not Taylor but a famous friend of hers. “That doesn’t look like Taylor but she sure as hell looks like Karlie Kloss,” the user said. While that’s an interesting theory, it does not align with Karlie’s whereabouts, according to her Instagram. The model was at a bowling party on Dec. 20 (the night that the tattoo probably happened) that Taylor was not in attendance for.
It’ still unclear why Jon Boy dropped Taylor’s name in the photo. Some fans accused him of trying to get more attention. However, the tattoo artist has over 617,000 followers on Instagram and has done work on tons of celebs, including, Hailey Baldwin, Justin Bieber, and Halsey. One fan summed it up when they said Jon Boy “is a very reputable and well-known artist. He wouldn’t tag a celebrity for the attention. He gets enough as it is!” Hmm…
