Besties For Life! Selena Gomez Gives Taylor Swift A *Subtle* Shoutout In First Pics Post-Rehab
Legends supporting legends! On Dec. 18, the first pictures of Selena Gomez post-rehab surfaced on Instagram and we couldn’t help but notice one adorable detail! The 26-year-old was rocking one of Taylor Swift’s Reputation hoodies. Ugh. How cute.
Of course, fans were loving it and flocked to the snapshot posted by Selena’s longtime friend Bailee Madison to show some love. “OMG! Selena is wearing Reputation merch. I’m dead,” one user commented. “Taylor liked this! OMG. Taylena is ALIVE,” added another, along with several crying emojis.
TBH, we had no idea Taylena was *a thing,* but we’re diggin’ the ship name, nonetheless. As much as we appreciate Selena’s subtle homage to her bestie, we’re mostly just relieved to see the “Back To You” singer looking so happy. After all, it hasn’t been an easy few months for her.
Back in October, the brunette beauty was hospitalized after suffering from an emotional breakdown. Shortly thereafter, Selena entered a treatment facility in NYC. Now that she’s out, the pop star is reportedly making positive changes in her life, especially when it comes to her health.
“She’s focused on her mental health, not dieting. She has been eating more than she ever has and that includes three square meals a day and snacks,” a source recently told Radar Online. Seeing as Selena has expressed a great deal of insecurity about her body in the past, we’re thrilled to hear that she’s embracing self-love and ignoring the scale.
It’s a shame that her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber can’t see how well she’s doing. An insider recently revealed to Life & Style magazine that the 24-year-old is still worried about Selena’s health. “Justin blames himself for Selena’s recent stint in rehab. That’s why he’s been calling her,” the source claimed. “He’s worried about Selena’s health with the holidays approaching and is trying to be a good Christian.”
Hmmm, sounds like Justin is more concerned about relieving his own guilt, if you ask us! Here’s hoping Selena keeps slaying. We’re all rooting for you, girl.
