‘Bachelor’ Couple Sean Lowe And Catherine Giudici Are Thinking Of Adopting
We can’t get enough of Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici’s family, and now the couple are thinking of expanding their brood — by adopting another little one! The reality couple sat down with Life & Style exclusively to dish about their family plans.
“I want a big family,” Catherine, 32, told Life & Style at the Sleep Number Under the Mistletoe event in NYC. “I’m really pushing for four [children].”
Sean, 35, admitted he isn’t “sold” on a huge family, but he could be persuaded into giving his sons, Samuel, 2, and Isaiah, 7 months, one more companion. “My sister Shay’s adopted two girls and just to see where they came from and how their life has been so drastically altered and how happy they are,” he said. “It’s really, really cool. So, we just figured, you know, you’re blessed to be a blessing. So, if we can bless someone’s life, why not?”
The lovebirds are in the beginning stages of planning since Isaiah is only seven months old. However, the brunette beauty noted that adopting “takes a long time,” and it sounds like the couple wants their kids to be about two years apart.
The former Bachelor star has always thought about adopting, too. “He actually mentioned it when we were on the show, or his family mentioned it to me,” Catherine revealed. “That was something that was really important to him.”
Now that they have been in the real world for quite some time, how has their relationship changed since having two kids? “I think it’s just matured us and our relationship,” she admitted. “Our children are very, very important to us and how we raise them is very important to us. I think it’s matured our relationship as husband and wife and also, it’s nice to see what we’re each capable of and what the other is capable of during this chaotic time in life.”
While the two do enjoy going out for date night, they revealed that their first choice is actually sitting on the couch. “We’ve done date nights before, of course, but a lot of times we’ll go to the trouble of getting a babysitter and getting dressed up and going on a date,” the dad-of-two said. “But, then we think ‘Ah, I wish I was at home on the couch in my sweatpants’ because that’s kind of our happy place when you’re watching kids all day long.”
These two make the cutest babies, so we can’t wait for more!
