Since Travis Scott (real name Jacques Berman Webster II) welcomed his daughter, Stormi Webster, with Kylie Jenner, a lot of the focus has been on his own little family. However, you may be wondering about the “Sicko Mode” rapper’s parents, Jacques and Wanda Webster, grandma and siblings. He mostly uses his social media to promote his music, but that doesn’t mean he’s not close with his family.

The 28-year-old has been pretty open about being raised in Texas. “I was born in Houston, Texas. I grew up in Houston, by Missouri City. It’s like a suburb in the area, it’s middle-class. But I used to stay with my grandma in the hood from ages one to six,” the “Butterfly Effect” rapper explained to Complex back in 2012. “My mom worked for Apple and my dad owned his own business. I lived in [Houston] most of my life until I was like 19 … I stay in L.A.”

He didn’t always get along with his father, and Travis revealed that they had “fist-fights in front of my friends.” His dad was resistant to his son pursuing music, but that’s who he got his chops from. “The most ironic thing is my grandfather has his masters in music composition, he was a jazz composer. My dad was a musician too, he played more like soul music. He dad was a drummer and he plays the piano. That’s where I get my whole music theory from, my pops and my grandfather,” Travis said.

The Grammy nominee is especially close with his grandmother. In October 2018, he posted the sweetest video of her dancing at her 90th birthday party. “The lady in the middle with the beautiful grey hair is my lovely grandma. Who taught me all the swag. That’s almost 90 years of swag,” he captioned the clip.

The rapper also has a younger brother and sister — twins Joshua and Jordan — who turned 19 in June. He doesn’t publicly share a lot of sibling photos, but a sweet snapshot surfaced in 2018 of his brother meeting Stormi for the first time shortly after her birth.

He comes from an awesome family, and Travis and Kylie are paving the way in their new chapter as parents. In his new Netflix documentary, Look Mom I Can Fly, fans can see intimate footage of when the A-listers welcomed their sweet daughter into the world.
