Whatever it takes, Drake knows he can make it through!
The 30-year-old has enjoyed an extremely successful career as a hip hop artist — earlier this month, he took home 13 awards at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, breaking Adele’s previous record of most wins in one night. But it seems like he still remembers his humble beginnings from when used to go by his full name — Aubrey Drake Graham — and starred on Degrassi: The Next Generation.
Drake — who is a huge basketball fan — took to Instagram to gush about the upcoming NBA Finals and he shared a photo of himself as a teen on the set of the 2000s teen drama. In the shot, Drake’s character Jimmy Brooks smiled at his pal Toby Isaacs (played by Jake Goldsbie) with a basketball in his hand.
“That feeling when finals basketball is 24 hours away,” the “Hotline Bling” rapper wrote in the caption.
It looks like he has a lot to smile about these days — besides sports and music awards. A source revealed to Life & Style that while his ex-fling Jennifer Lopez is moving on with former New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez, Drake has been spending a lot of time with pop and R&B singer Paloma Ford.
“[He] is giving Paloma lots of attention, but he’s such a bachelor,” the insider revealed. “It’s hard for him to settle down.”
