Emily Ratajkowski Celebrates Her 28th Birthday With a Heart-Shaped Pizza and We’re Like … Yes, Ma’am!
This birthday babe is seriously our hero. Emily Ratajkowski celebrated her 28th birthday while out with friends at the NYC hotspot Short Stories on June 6 and she rang in her latest trip around the sun in the best way possible — with a heart-shaped pizza.
The gorgeous pie in question appeared on the model’s Instagram Stories that evening, a cheesy “slice” of glory complete with “Emrata” spelled in ricotta cheese on top. Our mouths are watering, y’all.
Though it seems impossible that anything could be better than this pizza, there’s one thing that caught our eye. Emily’s new baby boy, her dog Colombo, was also part of the festivities! He can be seen in the photo right next to the pizza (a dog knows when it’s dinner time), being happily held in a friend’s lap.
The music video babe has clearly been getting hype for her big day because she was posting a lot about ~birthday inspo~ and ~birthday vibes~ in the days leading up to her celebratory event. She even dropped a hilariously-timed, yet very appropriate, childhood photo on her Instagram Stories with “Birthday Energy” written on it. We LOLed.
Emrata might seem like a huge star now, but just a few short years ago, she was barely a blip on the radar. She got her start as the sexy star of Robin Thicke‘s “Blurred Lines” music video, which made her go viral from the sheer amount of skin she was willing to show. From there, she caught the attention of Sports Illustrated, which lead to her swimsuit issue appearances in 2015 and 2016.
The brunette beauty went on to walk the runway for designers such as Miu Miu, Versace and Marc Jacobs, as well as jumpstarting her acting career. After landing a supporting role in Gone Girl, she scored several roles in movies and TV shows. Now, she’s the household name we know today — and all before 28.
